Am I doing this right?
I am calculating the max pin weight for my 5th wheel.
CURB WEIGHT (standard equipment + fuel) = 6775 lbs
GVWR = 9000 minus 6775 = 2225 lbs payload
Passengers weight (max) = 600 lbs
5th wheel hitch = 150 lbs
Tool box and contents = 150 lbs
line-x bed liner = 50 lbs
Weston step bars = 50 lbs
TOTAL 1000 lbs
PAYLOAD................2225 lbs
-1000 lbs
--------------
1225 lbs is max pin weight
I MUST be doing something wrong.
I read all the time where people with the same truck are pulling trailers with pin weights of MUCH more than that.

More important than where you are, is the direction you are going.
