Preping a 16ft Flatbed Trailer for Paint
I have a 16ft flatbed tandem axle utility trailer with a treated wood floor. The orginal color red has faded out quite a bit an I've been thinking about re-painting it black. I would like to strip all the old paint off as much as possible, would sand blasting be the best bet to do this,or a chemical application an maybe using a high pressure washer that I could borrow real easy. I have never had any thing sand blasted before an have no idea what the cost would be. I'm not going for any kind of show quaility paint job, just want it to stick good an not start peeling off first time at the car wash.
Thanks, for any Replies
Tony
