5th to gooseneck adaptor

have 05 3500 drw truck was thinking of getting a diamond gooseneck hitch to keep the bed clean and get a 5th to goose adaptor for 5th wheel trailer. any one using this combo? I have seen a few doing it that way but have not had a chance to talke to anyone i saw using one. any input? Thanks, Jim
