Pulling w/stock 04.5

So, how do these 325/600's pull w/out BOMBING? I still have my 98.5 w/all the mods and it pulls great even though it's an auto. Now I have the 04.5 6speed and am chomping at the bit. I only pull about 10k and here in Ca. you have some pretty good grades, especially the Grapevine and Tahachapi mnts.(hope I spelled that right). What can I expoect?
