Best Electric Tongue Jack???
Does anyone know who makes the "Best" electric tongue jack. I have a 25' Nash 25-S trailer, 560lb. tongue weight.
My truck is an '03, 3500 SRW, QC, Longbed. I also, have a 115gal. alum. diamondplate fuel tank in the bed of the truck. I often carry five 6gal. jugs of water in the bed of the truck.
BTW the trailer has a 50gal. fresh water tank in the front of the trailer, which, I keep full as possible while travelling.
The stock (Atwood) hand crank tongue is rated at 2000 lbs. and works well. Just a lot of cranking. Boy, am I getting spoiled!
With all the extra weight in the bed of the truck, I've been thinking of going with the heaviest elec. jack (3500lbs.). But, it's $320. A local RV Parts dealer is selling a 3000lb. elec. jack for $189. Less than the 2500lb. for $240.
Do you guys think there is much difference, quality wise, in the different jacks. If so, which are the best?
Thanks for your opinions. Joe F.(Buffalo)
