Wiring Help/Suggestiongs

I pull/deliver 5w's/trailers and on my old '96 installed a momentary button to turn out the rear lights so I could thank the big rigs who flash their light when okay to pull back into their lane. I do not know where to splice into the wiring on my new '04. Suggestions - make it simple pls. JKL
