Tire pressure monitoring

I already have a IR thermometer.

Any one using something like this?

I want to avoid a serious tire failure. Since my trailer is heavy and repairs to the wheels, wheel wells or an accident can be avoided by knowing if you are losing pressure, this seems like the way to go.

Any experienced opinions?
