Gooseneck to 5th?

I'm going to buy a used enclosed car hauler (28+') to move cross country with, then probably sell it. I can either go TT or 5th wheel, but I've also seen some large goosenecks for sale. Can a gooseneck trailer be converted somehow to be pulled with a 5th wheel hitch, or is the height differential incompatible? Thanks for your experiences!
