Fuel mileage towing with a ford?

Ya I know...This is not a ford forum, but I am sure you guys will have an opinion.

A friend of mine just bought a 2004 Ford f350 4X4 with a 6 liter diesel and then bought a 2006 Jayco Eagle model 323RKS, GVW 12000 pounds and figures to get 13 to 14 mpg. What do you have to say about that?
