Did the trailer cause fuse to blow?

Ok hauled home a new (to us) gooseneck today and when parking trailer noticed my ABS & brake lights were on.

Later this evening I noticed I had running lights, but no brake lights.

Pulled the fuse for the brake lights and it was blown? Could faulty wiring (bad ground, etc.) cause my rear brake light fuse to blow?
