growling noise
Ive been hearing a kind of growling noise when I make a turn from a stop (parking lot, stop sign, etc) It sounds like it is coming from the rear end. Ive been hearing it for a while when Ive been pulling my TT. I always thought it was just the sound my sway control, on the hitch, was making because I might have had it too tight.
Anyway, now I notice it when Im not pulling anything. If I start from a dead stop, take my foot off the gas and break and just let idle pull it around, I hear the noise. I guess I should have tried to see if I can hear it when I step on the gas or the break. But, if I step on the gas, I think the engine noise hides the growl.
Any ideas ?
Thanks, Tractorat
