Towing mirrors
I've tried the Cipa slip-on tow mirrors for our truck ('99) and as others have commented, they do indeed vibrate and also the mirror area is very small as well as not extending very far. So it would seem that replacement mirrors are a necessity if one really wants to be able to see to the rear.
Which one vibrate the least, extend the furthest, and have the largest area? I'm looking at the Cipa and maybe also doing the early/late model mirror/base swap to retain my power/heat using the Dodge tow mirrors. Which would be the best of these, or should I look at another brand as well? Do any of these extend far enough to see to the rear of the trailer for backing? Thanks for your feedback!
