Best place to mount 7 pin plug in the Bed?

I want to install a 7 pin plug in my bed for a 5th wheel but I'm not sure wheres the best place. I'm thinking between the tailgate and the fenderwell on the drivers side. I'm new to the 5th wheel/ goose neck world and would really like your opinions before I drill my bed. Thanks everyone
