Tekonsha Prodigy harness

Have a tekonsha prodigy controler in my 2004 , and id like to wire into my 1990 with a similiar connector, so i can use the controller back and forth betwen the 2 trucks? What type of connector if any is there on a 1990? Or will i have to cut wires, Also any idea if i can get a tekonsha style end with out buying, and hacking up a new harness???
