Update on Forest River Toy Hauler debacle F40SPTS

For those of you that read the first part of what was going on, early on, it gets worse,.

The unit was in the shop for a combined total of 4 1/2 months out of the first 5 1/2 I owned it and I found more structural damage.A Roof plywood panel is unfastened under the rubber roof.( Major repairs to fix)

They( Forest River) will tow it back to the factory in Rialto, Ca and attempt a "re-roof" job and thats it. At this point, I was hoping they would swap this mess of repaired trailer out...No such luck.

My question is to all of you, would you be willing to cut and paste copies of the letters I send to Forest River on to other RV and truck related bulletin boards/ discussion forums?

There are many of you spread all across the U.S.A. on many different boards one person could never find.

If after I send the letters and if its a un-favorable response, I'll be sending copies via mail to all RV manufactures, RV ins companies, extended warranty companies and RV saftey institutes etc.

For those of you that are interested, I will be sending a letter of concern to Forest River about their first batch of repairs that ended with crossed wires, holes drilled in my kitchen roof etc.

I will also be sending, for what its worth, a letter to Pete Liegl who is still CEO of Forest River but sold out to Warren Buffet and "Berkshire Hathaway"

Anyone who has had a "lemon law" applied to their Rv please let me know what the proceedure is.

Any suggestions? ( Besides parking this thing on RailRoad tracks!!!)?

Thanks for all you help .

Ed
