Prodigy Quit Working

I was on the last leg of a two week road trip pulling my fiver and I noticed that my Prodigy Brake Controller indicates it is n.c.,(Not Connected). It has been working fine for several years. Checked my connections. They seem ok. Lites on the tow are working fine. I've got two connections, one in the bed of my PU and one on the rear bumper. Got the same results with both connections. Any help in diagnosing this problem would be appreciated.
