Unhappy psd's in the shop again

once again , i find my two 2001 psd's grounded for about a week each. the 550's were advertised to have a heavier rear end and trans , both 6 speed and auto. on the auto, the turbo housuing vibrated loose, and the driveline went at the same time. on the six speed, the intake clamps both worked off [three times] causing this truck to be towed in each time. well we gave ford their last chance on this deal, they told us we couldnt put the clamps on the auto on our 6 speed because it would void the warranty. i can understand the logic because everyone wants to cover their a.. but in the meantime ive had to put my 96-97 ctds back into service to cover this. these trucks belong to my own guys that have bought them after we depreciated them out. we pay them mileage etc. in the meantime im left with two out of service tow trucks that should still be under fords 3-36 warranty. they are, but what good does that do me when i cant get two 550's with a 5th wheel set up to "loan" these powerstrokes are a nightmare. like ive said before, we have everything from dodge v-10s to psds to chevy vortecs to ctds to cat 3126s . the best truck is still the ctds but they are still a little light in the clutch area. the brakes on our 2001.5's have performed very well, the trans will have to prove itself to me. IMO
