Frame mounted Reese 5er hitches for newer DC

My 06' dually last year, I installed a 24k Reese Signature 5er hitch. The out of sight frame mounts required a little drilling which I complained to Reese about. The frame mount also came marked 16k. I contacted Reese and they said that was OK also. I just had installed new frame mounts on my new 07.5 dually for the same 24k Signature. The new frame rails came in this time as a much heavier mount, NO drill plates for the side of the frame and cross sections were now heavy wall tubing instead of channel. Reese must have listened. I never did fully trust that 16k mount...#@$%!
