Reese 15K vs 16K hitch

Hey guys
Replacing my hitch, so I'm looking info and or opinions on 15K Reese hitch,
and why every one thinks the 16K is so much better. because there is quite a bit of $$ difference. I hope someone will enlighten me because you can't tell much from pics in a catalog or the net.
Will be towing up to 18 K
