Got Balls?
I am looking into purchasing a "convert-a-ball" or "adapt-a-ball" setup, where one shank is fitted with one of 3 balls, and the ball is pinned in place through the shank, which is bolted to the receiver drawbar. Is anyone using this setup, and if so, how well do you like it?
This setup will be used on both trucks, but is not the primary setup. I need to have a 7" drop to pull two different 7000 lb trailers, and one takes 2" ball whereas the other takes 2 5/16" ball. I am trying to keep the number of hitches I have in the cab to a minimum (I already have 4). Thanks!
