cleaning the black soot off

What is the best product for cleaning the exhaust soot
off my fifth wheel trailer????

I have tried many things but no luck.
It is aluminum & fiberglass.

I'm on #1 on the smarty.Would a higher setting produce less
smoke to keep the trailer cleaner?
