How do you disconnect the break controler plug from truck?
I want to replace the current break controler in my 2008 CC with a new one that has the "all in one connection" from the truck to the controler.
The current controler was spliced into the break controler 4-wire plug supplied by Dodge.
I have spent over two hours so far trying to disconnect the Dodge supplied plug from the connection under the dash board with no success.
Are these plugs from Dodge a "once pluged in, they are permanent"?
I see the "bump" on the side of the plug (driver side door side), that I have been trying to put a small flat blade screw driver into and lifting what I think is the snap connection, and try to pull the plug out, but it won't move no matter what.
Anyone ever have this problem -or- know the secreat trick of how to remove the controler plug?
