Battery disconnect Switch

Have been storing the 5th wheel longer lately. Decided to get a battery disconnect switch. I got a knife switch. When I got home and actually read the instructions, I found it was made to connect to the negative battery terminal. I would have thought it best to cut the + side. Although I got the switch at an RV place, the instructions don't mention RV's and read like it was intended for auto theft and battery drain.

It is a battery mount sw with an "Accessory Post" which will work if you want to cut off the - side.

Is this what I want to use?
