Towing with smarty
We just got back from a 9600 mile trip through the beautiful US. Smarty Jr. was set on #2 and we averaged 13.8 hand calculated pulling our 30' Wildcat bunkhouse. Most we paid for fuel was $4.68 in South Dakota and low was $3.88 in Newnan, GA. Blew one tire (tread separation) and broke a spring shakle that stressed another tire (tread separation) before I could get to where It could be welded.
We visited:
Black Hills, Badlands, Yellowstone, Glacier National Park, Craters of the Moon,
Bryce, Zion, Grand Canyons, Mesa Verde, White Sands, Carlsbad, Tuskeege Airmen, and much more.
We live in a beautful country and I thank God and the men & women that serve to keep it free!
Keep grinnin,
Walt
