Waxing your camper?

I have a 30' 5er and trying to keep her in good shape. So I decided on a go coat of wax, what a job. Does any one here do it? what kind of wax do you use or am I insane to even bother. It's hard to see when waxing it due to the camper being the same color of the wax, so I loose track were I waxed it and then when it's done, man you see the spots I missed and looks terrible. Any ideas would be great. I'm using rain dance wax.

By the way I saw a pretty good trick to keep the sides streak free from the gutters. Put a clothes pin at the end of each gutter and now the water runs off at the end of the clothes pin and away from the wall! works good and they don't fall off either.
