Gvw??

I have a bone stock 1995 2500, (GVW 8800#) RAM, A/T. New load range 'E' tires (rears - 3050# capacity ea. @ 80psig) and no camper or overload equipment installed. Now my question - I have to transport a block of granite about 50 miles over good roads. Block weighs 2600#'s. I realize this probably exceeds GVW, but I believe the truck will carry this load. Any info, advice or experience to give me would be greatly appreciated.
