brake controller question?

HI all,
I plan on purchasing a new 5v'er. After an exhaustive research I have decided to go with a Tekonsha Prodigy brake controller. My question is that Camping World sells a brake control harness for $8.99 that supposedly plugs into the truck (under dash w/tow package) then plugs into the Tekonsha Prodigy, thus eliminating any splicing. Has anyone used this?
