Trailer light problem

I have a 94 and a 95 dodge. When I hook up the 94 to the trailer the lights on the trailer work fine. The lights on the 95 work fine themselves but when I hook it up to the trailer and turn on either turn signal both lights flash dimly. I replaced the plug on the truck and have started checking the wires under the truck to see if I have any grounding. It is a 6 pin round plug and I have trailer brakes. I thought before I look anymore I would ask my friends here at TDR for some insight. Thanks, Ron
