Fresh water tank sensor install

I just picked up a new fresh water tank to give me 20 more gallons. They put the fill, vent and drain holes as specified but I get to do the sensors. I figured just use the old ones...huh. Are the new ones installed from the exterior of the tank? Details please. Are new ones readily available.
