Pulled out an 18 wheeler

OH my , I can't believe that today I actually hooked up some chains to an 18 wheeler (volvo with 50' moving trailer) and pulled it out.

The truck was stuck in snow and had the trailer at about a 70 degree angle from the tractor.

He had attempted to back around a curve and got the tractor stuck in snow.

Hooked up some chains to him and then put my truck into 4wd low and pulled him right out. The driver applied his brakes after he was clear of the snow, but I didn't realize he had his brakes on, I pulled him a few feet more with his tires screeching before he blew his horn to stop me. ( I was on clean pavement). The look on the drivers face was sheer amazement, he and his co driver are now firm believers in the power of these trucks.

This was the first time I ever attempted to pull anthing of that size. I was also amazed at the power in 4wd lo.

One happy to brag Cummins Dodge owner.
