Hitch considerations w/10' slide in camper
We intend to put a Lance 1030 on our rig in the near future. How does a slide in camper of that length afftect my hitch considerations?
I know that I'll need an extension bar but how long I don't know.
My understanding is that there is a possiblity I'll need a Class V hitch if the extension gets beyond say 18".
My boat and trailer probably weighs no more than 2K, even with all my Muskie tackle loaded in it. So I won't be pulling anything very big weight wise.
Just wondering if I should be budgeting for a Reese Titan or the equivalent.
Thanks,
Tim
