Inverter/charger vs converter/charger
In my search for a 5er I have noticed a majority of units use the converter route. For years I have been using inverters in marine applications and found them to be very good. The only advantage I have found for the converter is cost. Is that about it or am I missing something?
One reason for wanting an inverter, is to be able to run the fridge on 12 volt and not the propane when under way. Another is better charging control.
It doesn't appear to be a normal request or so says the dealers. Is this about what you guys find?
Cheers Ken
