How expensive is it to fix a hole in a MotorHome?

A buddy of mine put about a 3' scrape in his motorhome that actually broke the gelcoat and tore a nice clean scrape. To have it done right - can anybody give me a ballpark amount one could expect? He was borrowing the vehicle and wants to get it fixed before he takes it back - father-in-law....
