Good idea, or bad??
I have a need to tow two Jeeps about 150 miles in a few weeks and I only have an 18ft. trailer rated for 7K lbs. What I have seen done is to put one Jeep very far forward on the trailer and then to put the front tires of the second Jeep on the trailer, but leave the rear tires on the ground and act like a dolly. If the Jeeps weigh 3200 lbs. each I was thinking that would put me at about 5K lbs. on the trailer and then the trailer is about 1.5K-2k so I should be withing the limits.
Anyone ever do this or have any opinions?? I know it sounds goofy, but I have heard it works.
