1997 Low Power can hit throttle only partway or it slows down.

I have a 1997 CTD with about 140k miles on it. Stock plate slid forward and a governor spring kit. EGT and Boost Gauges. Thats all the mods.

It starts and runs fine cold but then when it warms up a bit it has no power and hitting the throttle harder actually causes it to slow down even more. I am wondering if there is a problem with starving for fuel, failing lift pump, bad Injector Pump, or the rubber fuel supply/return lines from the tank to the pump??????

I drove up a hill last night at 25 MPH It feels like I have a VW engine. On the flat or down hill I can get up to about 60 with no power. Does anyone have any ideas???

By the way a couple weeks ago my rear tank bracet broke causing the back end of the tank to drop way lower than normal. I strapped it up and I am waiting for the new hanger bracket to arrive via UPS. I am starting to wonder if I have a crushed, kinked, or bent fuel line or fuel pick up/fuel sender assembly. I am going to check this tomorrow morning and I am going to change the fuel filter again just for grins.

Does anyone have Peers phone number, I lost it when I moved recently.

Any and all suggestions will be welcomed.

Thank you.
