Gas in diesel in Tok Alaska

In Tok at Three Bears fuel station pump #7 I bought 21.0 gals of diesel. Truck ran lopey died twice when put in gear but restarted. I thought I had bought some old #1 and drove on to Glennallen about 130 miles then topped off with 10.0 gallons then to Palmer added another 10.0 when I got home to Anchorage I pulled a sample. It smelled of gas so I changed filter and added some oil to the new full tank of 6.0 diesel in Anchorage. Truck runs fine but lift pump might be dead. My wife verified it was the diesel pump as does the reciept. I wonder how much gas was in the 21 gals ? It could not been pure gas as I would not have made it 130 miles. BEWARE
