Fellow member is broke down in Santa Rosa/Alburque New Mexico

Rod Greene, handle BRUMUS71 is broke down on his way to a dragrace at Indy and needs urgent help.

97 truck with 5 speed, trans is locked in 5th gear. What be done to correct this? Anybody in the area that can help?
