Very weird howling noise...HELP!!!

hope someone can help me.. I have an 04 QC 4x4 Dually with an edge box, afe intake and torque tube and 4" MBRP exhaust from the turbo back. When i floored it before, the normal turbo whine changed to a loud howling noise at about 2000 rpm. I dont really notice any power loss but the noise is worrying me. I also remove the silencer ring 2 weeks ago, but like i said, this noise just stated happening today....a friend who did the exhaust said that the donut clamp may have gotten loose on the exhaust??? ANY ONE HAVE ANY IDEAS??
