cranks but no start

I believe it's the vp44 but I have no codes set and don't want to buy one if it's not the problem. The lift pump is showing 15psi. It ran fine wed night pulling my trailer 200 miles but next morning it started and ran rough lots of blue smoke but then cleared up so I unhooked the trailer went to run erands and went about 8 blocks and it just quit. By the way it's 2001 with 125,000 miles. Any help would be appreciated
