To "Bar's Leak" or not ?

I've recently and suddenly developed a major external coolant leak in the head.

I may need to move the truck 150 miles for repairs. I'm wondering if some Bar's leak might plug the hole, or if the repercussions from it would not be worth it.
Anyone have a success story with Bar's Leak in their Cummins?
