front abs sensor removal...help asap

I've got my 99 4x4 2500 's hub removed so I can change out the rotors and I think I need to remove the speed sensor from the hub but I don't want to damage it ,I've found nothing about this in any of the posts i've read about removing the hubs and my haynes manual doesn't mention it either.please help i'm at an all stop until I can figure this out and the rotor hub assembly is balanced on top of the spindle right now waiting to crash to the garage floor ripping the sensor out in the process.
