Newbie Bombing...turbo went Kaboom!!

Just got the Edge Comp box on my 01'....already have DDII's and DTT tranny. Everything else is stock. On 5x5 today..passing some up a hill I heard a boom from the turbo....loost all boost and starting smoking real bad out exhaust..EGT's real high. Saw a hose line off turbo running to cooler lost a hose clamp. Put a cheap one on there to fix it for now...also noticed a loost bolt on the manifold right above the turbo..tightened it. I now have my boost back, and turned off the box. I hear a squealing the more boost I build...like a high pitched air leak. Looks like I need to tighten the hose back up..didn't put it on straight. Going to the dealership tomorrow and getting the proper hose clamp. Also ordering a Super B turbo, AFE and pusher pump as well. I was right at 40psi when the turbo made the noise. Anything I should look for or know about and why did this happen...just too small of a turbo?? Did I hurt anything?
