Changed fuel filter: Now no start!!

Not the time to have a no-start problem. No start on weekend means no-parts!! I had been having my ongoing hesitation problem...decided to change the fuel filter before I went any further. Drained it out, cleaned the bowl and installed the new filter. I've bumped the starter and heard the lift pump run numerous times. I even opened it up again to make sure it was getting fuel in the bowl. I've got fuel...but now no start?? What gives??
