alternator quit charging

i have a 94 dodge and the alternator wont charge. the tach and a/c quit all at the same time. i put in a new alternator, batteries, and cleaned the terminals and the alternator still wont charge. could there be a computer problem or electrical. where do i go from here. i really need help.
