Dies in Gear!
99 cd auto 131,000 miles stock (wifes truck)
TC locked up, and won't unlock. Starts up, idles fine, put in rev. or drive
and either bogs down, white smoke, or dies. block up the rearend, start
truck, put in gear D, run thru gears up to 55 mph. 1500 rpm fine. put the
parking brake on while doing this, and bogs down to700 rpms and same as
on the ground. TC will not unlock. APPS reset, fluild & filter change, Checked
connectors, etc., new bateries. still the same. any ideas?
