help diesel fuel in oil

My friend just called me and he has fuel in the oil and all underneath the truck. The truck is an 03 that is chipped and has propane injection. He was driving it and when he got to where he was going he noticed strong smell of fuel and said that the overflow vent was smoking and dripping a little and the whole underneath of the truck is coated with fuel . What would be the likely culprit of this. I don't know much about the common rails or propane injection.
