Help With 2002 5.9 24Valve Cummins

There is bad humming noise comeing from the front of the truck. It does it off and on and is sometimes worse then other times. When it is doing it, it gives off FAST but soft vibration in the sterring wheel. It's annoying as hell need to figure out what it is. It tends to do it more when the truck is cold. Any help would greatly be appreciated.......PLEASE HELP!
