My drag link end wont go ino new Superlift pitman arm

Hey im doing the lift as I type but I ran into a problem. The taper on the pitman arm is reversed. Stoke the draglink dropped down into the pitman arm. Now the way the new arm is its reversed( smaller at the top and larger at the bottom). The instructions didnt say but are you soppose to fip the drag link end to load it from underneeth.
