can't bleed air out of front injector!

I've tightened everything. I can keep engine running with fuel line to front injector open. Runs rough and eventually dies when I tighten the fuel line. the air just keeps coming! It's a 92. It first died (ran dry) I think because the fuel solenoid wires were loose. Help!
