Built Tranny Problems

Just bought a new built auto tranny and installed it about two weeks ago. I'm not going to say a brand right not to keep the flames down, but had the full tranny with Billet Input, Billet Intermediate, and HD 3rd gear clutches.

I went to my first pull today and almost at the full pull mark, the motor free spools like nothing is connected. I figure it's the flexplate or output as they are about the only thing I declined to purchase. I get pulled off the track and put it in park. People in front say sparks came from up at the front. On parking the truck doesn't hold in park. This got me confused. After getting disgusted and pulling it home, I notice tranny fluid is dripping onto the trailer from what looks like the dust cover below the flywheel.

Besides pulling the dust cover to see about the flywheel, what else should I check before talking to the transmission builder?
